Final Animation

Narrative

My final will be a short comedic animation involving the main character and a smaller more child-like, almost infantile, version of himself.  The inspiration for this was the idea that someone needs to take better care of themselves and not giving in to temptations, or as my mother would say, “Delay self-gratification.”  To convey this, the main character below will encounter a smaller, infantile version of himself (or uncommonly known as “chibi”).  The smaller character will constantly try to do things that he’s normally not allowed to do in his dorm with his friends (There are things throughout the room with small sticky notes from his dorm mates, specifying that he is not allowed to touch them.  The chibi character will constantly try to touch them and likely cause trouble, and the main character will try to keep him from touching those objects.

Final Animatic

A very very rough animatic, but it gets the message across.  I tried to emphasize the cutesy nature of the child character by making it behave almost like a stray pet, like something that people would want to take care of.
